bypass and replace fuel injection / immobilizer relay

since several people have asked this is what was what I found and did

I believe I was not getting power to the fuel injection relay for whatever reason for a long time you could tap on the relay and it would start & run... until.... that no longer worked... as I understand it the immobilizer works by allowing power to the fuel injection relay...

I did away with the fuel injection relay... supplied power to a NEW 20amp relay from a power source that became HOT when the key was turned on... this NEW hot powered the NEW relay which in turn made the connection for the fuel injection JUST as the factory relay had in the past BUT using the new source for power... I've had a couple people ask if I could make one up for them... so I ordered a few parts to do it the correct way with the proper fused connectors ... the one I built for my LX470 was done at night in a parking garage with parts I had on hand... and it has worked trouble free for 2 years... the ones i build will be better... let me know if anyone wants one... I'm thinking $35ea... setting up a fund for my 11yo who has been invited to train at the Olympic training center this Oct. or I'd do them for free... if you need one for free i'll do that too... this is a picture of the rag tag one that has worked for 2 years

Did you try replacing the EFI fuse? I seem to remember a post about replacing that (even if it looks good) with similar symptoms.
