Since day one (2013 4.7 V8) I've been getting a buzzing noise that would come anywhere past ~3800-4000rpm. A/C on or off, and it'd stay all the way to redline. Told them about it with the first oil change, and now again at the second service, they kept the car for 2 days and tried to convince me it's the catalytic converter used in the new cars. I'm not convinced, any thoughts?

Do you have the 4.7 or 4.6 V8? I heard a similar light rattling noise on high rpms. I'll see if I can confirm it on my 200

I've got the 4.7 GXR
Funny as for the '13 model the 4.7 was dropped in favour of the 4.6.
Here in UAE you get the 4.0 V6, 4.6 V8 or 5.7 V8.
Regarding the buzzing noise I remember earlier on it used to do that but yesterday couldn't get it to do it again. Maybe we could pin-point what causes this: either temperature outside or if the engine is warmed up or not at that time etc.
I'll keep an ear out and if I hear it again I'll note it down. I'll try to swing down to the dealer as well and see what they say.

You're right, it is the 4.6. For some reason I thought the 4.7 was the new version.. I had it backwards.
I get it any time I go beyond 3700rpm. Haven't noticed a difference with conditions.
