That 4Runner looks like it might be @PIZZZZA old rig?
Well would ya look at that. It sure is my old rig. He didn't hang onto that for very long. Good price though.

Any 22re Toyota people out there? I don't know anything about it but is it the cats meow? I'm starting to look around for an older 4cyl 5speed Toyota . Seems like the Tacoma's and 4runners run this motor ?

My Corolla is on death row and it'd be cool to replace it with another old crusty vehicle to do dump runs and other chores

Sorry if this isn't the best thread for this , figured this topic is sorta in the buy sell world
The White 4Runner was my rig. Even with 276K miles it ran like a champ.
The 22Re is without a doubt the strongest and most reliable Toyota engine.
It's also very slow when you put big mud tires on.
But for a run around vehicle they can be beat.

Right on, good to know thanks for the info. Yeah maybe I should set my sights more on a little Tacoma for just an around town zipper .

The 22RE is mostly found in Yota trucks from 85-95.
Just don't get one that has a 3.0 AKA 3.SLOW.
They are gutless and not very good on fuel economy.

Thanks again for the tip, yeah I just realized an old crusty tacoma I am looking at is the 3.0 ...whoops

Fun fact. The Tacoma didn't come out until 95. In the US it was the Toyota Pickup or mini truck. Overseas the Hilux and still to this day. In looking up parts for the older on many online vendors you will choose pickup. :)

I'm still on the hunt for an older Toyota to beat around town. The last guy I was dealing with for a 4R bailed last minute.

I have a pedal bucket from a 73 FJ40 that I've been kicking around my garage for 7 years now.

$40 or some realistic offer if I'm way off base. I'll be in Bozo next Saturday, and over in Helena on the 14th, or Missoula whenever.

Hey guys I have been working on this deal for a while and it finally transpired today. This one is staying with my family so not for sale but I do need a few things: first being the handle for the column shifter, early hubs, and for the love of cookies how is the Vader light supposed to turn on? I thought they had a separate switch I can’t seem to locate. Rig came out of Billings owned by same family all its life. I’m gonna keep it stock as possible. My daughter has called dibs on this one. We shall see.
Previous owner is trying to find the original carb for me so fingers crossed on that. Check out the original corner and rear panels in her, that I was impressed with.

Hey guys, I have a set of gray Weathertech floor liners for 2016-17 double cab auto with about 4000 miles of light use. Front and rear set. Not sure if they fit other models. PM me.

I have a set of front seats out of a 1996 Land Cruiser for free if anyone wants them. The gears and motors all work on both seats but leather is cracked as usual. I had to use seat belt clips and a bit of wiring from driver seat to work with my new seats but figure someone could use the working seat adjustment parts maybe? If not they’re going to the dump. Located in Helena

I'll take them. They are in way better condition than mine. I can't afford new seats right now.

Legend.

Chad got any rust free late model side panels with glass?

Hi! I happily and recently get a 1993 80 series Land Cruiser. I love it.
But just yesterday I got the 83, 84 & 85 engine codes, related to an early ECM. I have the 89661-60170.
After checking a lot of Threads here I'm looking for an ECM replacement.
Does anyone have a 89661-60221 to sell please? I'm currently in Bozeman. Thanks
