Always wanted an LC. Currently looking at a 1996 with 120K. Appartently third owner and recently put on new shocks, brakes, rotors, tires. Asking for 12K? This a Doctors car so I'm assuming it is well maintained. Tips when looking? Price?

Point of reference:

Whether or not it has locking differentials, where its located, and the condition of the interior and exterior are all big factors in determining value. And I would strongly advise you against assuming anything just because it belongs to a doctor:rolleyes: . They might be good at cutting on people, but some of them suck at making time to have their oil changed.

That doesn't mean squat unless I belongs to Cruiserdrew......;)

I just got a 96 with 136k a couple weeks ago. It's locked and seems to be in amazing condition. Carfax was clear and the guy I bought it from said there was nothing wrong. Paid $9,900. Just something maybe to think about before you spend 12k. But I like this thing so much I woulda paid 12 for it.

I just bought my '96 LX450 a few days ago for $11K with 130K miles in excellent condition, fully loaded with elockers. I don't plan to wheel hard... but do plan to use the elockers on occassion.

If it isn't in great condition with leather and elockers I would offer him less or keep looking.
