I have one dealer that sells Dargo trailers, and another that sells Carson trailers. They are about the same price. Is one better than another or are they the same?

MY brother has a dargo and it is very nicely made. Nice and wide and the paint seems to be lasting longer than my dads carson. They are basically the same design. Also the Dargo is wider than the carson, I believe the Dargo is 7' and the carson is less than that.

May I ask what the specs are and how much you're paying? I'll be looking for a car hauler in about 6 months to a year, and am trying to figure out what they can be had for.

They are both around 2200 out the door. I'm also trading an ATV trailer towards it, so that should knock off 800 (ouch). There are alot of used on craigslist for about 1500.

About $1050 for most of the raw steel. Plus another $1000 for a pair of 5000# axles w/ brakes, fenders, tires, lights, hitch and lift.
It's a damn nice 10,000 lb trailer, but spendy.
