Anyone pencil out if any of the extended Toyota Care packages are worthwhile?

I posted a relevant reply on another topic today.
Despite being ridiculed by most Toyota owners, I bought an extended warranty on my FJ Cruiser.
I had Pistons seize in both front brake calipers due to corrosion.
Replacing front calipers at a dealer is very expensive. It would have cost well over the cost of an extended warranty.
Chances are you may not need it but it's like insurance.
I also had a wheel bearing go bad. In the end I came out way ahead.
Toyotas are reliable, especially LC's. But things happen and they can be costly if fixed at a dealership.
Sure, you can replace front calipers for cheap if you buy cheap remanufactured crappy calipers. But not sure most Toyota owners would want that.

I've looked at the extended warranty but right now am considering the extended maintenance program. Essentially prepaid scheduled maintenance at a... to be determined (if any) discount.

Whoops, I should have read the title.
My only issue with prepaid maintenance plans is that if you run the numbers, they are rarely with the money.
Had a prepaid maintenance plan from Toyota and it really only covered a couple basic oil changes and one minor service like a 30k. This was for the FJ cruiser so it was not synthetic oil either.
These basic services cost the dealer so little.
Many of these plans seem to avoid the major services.

I did not buy the prepaid maintenance. I did buy the Toyota Platinum warranty. This takes me to 8 years and 100k miles. IIRC, cost was about $1400. I figure it won't take that big a repair to reach that cost.
