Does anyone have one of these pad thingys circled in red? My FJ40 has an FJ55 front axle on it and the '55 axle has square bump stop pads, reducing my axle upward travel. Would it be easy to make one and weld it on if not available?

I would just make you one. It is just to keep the U bolt from sliding down the incline of the axle housing. Note that the U bolt is longer than the rest of the U bolts on the truck.

What works well is to cut the legs off of an old U-bolt and weld the 1/2 round arch to the downhill side of your housing for the long U-bolt to rest against. The outer U-bolt does not need a side to side retainer. HTH, John
