yeah, I went up Daniel about a month ago. You should have heard all the people on Dickie Bell and Daniel asking...IS THAT A FOKKING LEXUS? YOU ARE CRAZY!! GET OUT A STRAP FOR THE PRETTY BOY!!

Until I walked up that beotch and left them all standing their with their mouths open LOL....

Not very much actually...it did when I got teetered on only two wheels on opposite corners but I did not have much slippage that I remember any other time. In my FJC with Nitto Terra Grapplers I always made it through Daniel as well but the ATrac and Rear Locker were working hard....constant feedback through pedal from front atrac searching for bite!

They bit pretty dang good actually. I had her in Low, 4Lo with Center Diff Locked and just let her do her magic.

Oh, so that's where those scratches on the sliders came from.....

j/k Brock. heehee

yes it is rose....hahahaha. But I touched them up for you.

Ever time I get a scratch on sliders like that I smile...as I know I just saved myself BIG DAMAGE and MONEY. Like money in the bank. :D :D :D :D

I think the guys @ 4 wheel parts said they saw a white Lexus go up Daniel with it's front tires off the ground at the first step. They were impressed!

I am going up next weekend. I've done all of the trails before, b ut have not been up this year. Any advice on a fairly stock 100 series. I only have 285s and some OME coils. In the past, I've run everything there, but i've heard the bump on daniel is tough again. Also, I heard that the so called by pass on Rocky Mt is bad. I haven't made any sliders yet, so I want to avoid major rocker damage.

At this point in the season, Daniel has been worn out pretty good at the first step. The "rail" isn't that bad but, the "I like to burn the tires off my Big Rig" people have screwed it up over the past few weeks. /still tons of fun to be had up there!!!!:p

would stay off daniel or rocky mt without sliders...but you are fine with your tires. mine are 285x65x18 Trail Grapplers and stock LEXUS AHC suspension.

Is there any welding involved in the install?

my bumper should be here next week maybe....

just cut rear cross member out with sawzall or cutting wheel....bolt in new bumper with 8 bolts....DONE!

Then wire license plate light...install swingouts...insert cotters and lock them in place.

I will try and do disassemble and build thread for my LX ...should be on well before Thanksgiving though.

Sounds easier than the front ARB. I look forward to seeing it on your LX. This is coming my way after the WK sliders.

I thought it was alot easier. The hardest part is the two cuts you need to make. Everything else goes together pretty quick.

can you make the cuts with an angle grinder?

Looking forward to seeing another one installed, take lots of pics Brock!

I'm probably going to drop a deposit and jump in line soon myself. Mike at BumpIt has a couple month waiting list so you got to throw your name on at some point to get one.

I've been chatting with Mike the past couple days via e-mail and he's extremely helpful and responsive. My favorite part with BumpIt is he will listen to any ideas and feedback and willing to customize and incorporate those ideas into the bumper design.

Here are some pictures Mike just sent me of the single and dual jerry can mounts for the driver side swing-out. Keep in mind the single can mount with ladder is a prototype and not finished in these pics.

Single jerry can mount with ladder and step. The jerry can holder is actually on a swivel mount and swings down to act as a step to get up on the ladder. Pretty slick design.

And here is the static dual jerry can mount. This is the way I will be going. P.S. Ignore the 80 rear bumper in the pics, the mount will be identical on the 100 bumper.

that dual jerry can carrier is awesome, is bumpit's bumper modular like the 4x4 labs?

As you can see in that last picture of the dual jerry can mount the whole thing is bolted to the driver side swing-out. I would call that modular. You could simply unbolt the jerry can mount and bolt something else on temporarily.
