I'm trying to decide if I want to do something from a manufacturer or if I want to get one custom made. I just don't think I could bear to "trim" my truck.

One of my buddy's has one it's good looking but you really can beat BIOR's price. I'm actually looking for a bumper though. If you ever need someone to take your Sahara bar off you hands I may be your guy.
No trimming required on my BIOR front bumper......and only reason I had to trim on rear is I have the high clearance version where you remove the rear crossmember...his new one does not require this cut to be made.
Lots of them on the road...I love mine and BIOR is a pleasure to deal with.
Thanks for the info guys I really do appreciate it. But in reference to the BIOR Front bumper, it is said in the info on the site that it involves trimming. Can anybody verify that?
i like that bumper also. it would be sweet in aluminum. i think the trimming is on the frame ends under the stock bumper so you can get a more solid mount. pretty common for these bull bars. oh yeah welcome to the forum.
To get an idea of the trimming, check Nakman's pics in my post on the New and updated TJM T13 Outback bumper. Guessing it is the same trimming as required for this bumper.
Yes, trimming frame ends is common, and both BIOR and Slee Blueberry bumper installs requires it. The owner of BIOR, Mike Smith, is an off-roader himself, and he specializes in metal fabrication. He is a great guy and meticulous craftsman with excellent product. BIOR can also customize features at your request.
Slee is another star in the Toyota fabrication field, but your thread asks about BIOR, so I will stop there. HTH
Call mike. He is easily accessible, easy to talk to and a really nice guy. I have his rear bumper and skids and diff drop. Good luck getting good support from a company like arb
sorry man, I wasn't trying to be an ass... just making a suggestion. Tough to gather tone through text. I was just making the point that this forum's search function works well, much better than other forums.

Just to chime in, Mike is a fantastic guy and his prices are near impossible to beat. I'm running sliders he custom built for the LX 470 and I couldn't be happier with them.
I personally am not a fan of the front bumper, seems too bulky. On the other hand, his rear bolt-on is a fantastic design I hope to pick up in the near future.
