Built 60 for Sale or Trade for 80???

So I've come to realize that my 60 is way over built for my (family) needs. I hardly ever use it (and probably have never used it to its potential for that matter) so I've decided to either sell it or trade if possible for something a bit more wife "user friendly." I love this rig and don't want to part with it, however, family comes first and I'm looking for something we'll all get use out of. I'd like to sell it for 7k or trade for an 80 series. Of course I realize there is a price difference between the two, but I'm not looking for a comparable built 80, just something that's pretty decent as far as clean and of course would prefer lockers. Anyway, here is my build:

1985 FJ 60 w/ 206,000 miles.
Chevy 400 w/ RV cam via Mark's Adapter Kit (under 10K on engine re-build) with A/C, Mountain Man re-built Quadra Jet (4 bl) Carb, desert cooler radiator
Stock 4-speed tranny with a Farey Case Splitter (can you say overdrive?)
Geared w/ 4:11's
Detroit Locker in Rear & Lock Rite Locker in front (fully locked)
Dakar Heavy lift with 1.5" longer shackles
33" tires (currently, with possibility of a set of 33” BFG mudders also as seen in one pic)
Heavy duty bumpers front and rear
Warn M8000 winch
Roof rack (surco aluminum rack)
CD player, CB, tinted windows, Hella driving and fog lights, rear shoulder belts, blah blah.

You get the idea. Basically all this thing needs is a set of sliders and a new paint job as most all 60's with original paints do. As can be seen in the pics, the roof and hood are suffering from oxidation and there are a couple of primered spots that were small dents that were recently fixed (buddy backed into me wheeling and fixed it and a couple more as payback, he’s a paint and body guy anyway). NO major rust, only small spots here and there that would be fixed as part of any paint job. Minimal leak from transfer case (few small drops when stopped, not bad, just enough to be annoying) due to bad gasket/ sealant replacement during Farey install.

All and all a very solid rig and well taken care of. I don't like to break or beat up my chit, so I can assure this rig has not been abused. Hell, it's even stored under an RV cover. I'd like to either sell and buy an 80, or trade for an 80. Wife would like more of a stock 80 instead for her driving likes so there you go. Like I said, I don't need to sell it, I’m not hurting for cash, really just throwing it out there to see if someone could use it more than I and work something out for both our needs, but if nothing pans out so be it. Thanks for looking. Oh yeah, NOT SMOG LEGAL so keep that in mind (located in So. Oregon where there's no smog laws........yet).

**Sorry for lack of better pics, but I can't figure out how to get my photobucket images to link up and actually be viewable so screw it, this is all I can get up on the site by re-sizing on my cheesy Microsoft photo viewer. If someone can explain how it's done simply, then great and much appreciated by me an others I'm sure.***

Price reduction to $6k or best offer. Plans have changed, too busy with new toys and toy hauler. I'll get another one in the future, but with my life right now, the cruiser will definitely NOT get used now and I would rather sell it and have the room then watch it sit. Come on, make me an offer or some "non-cruiser poser" somewhere out there is going to end up with a killer deal on a sweet rig they have no understanding about. Would love to see a fellow mudder have it and appreciate it.

Thanks and yes, it's still for sale. Entertaining reasonable offers. I just don't use it and hate seeing it just sitting around.

erg. If i wasn't moving and thinking of selling my own, We'd be meeting somewhere between here and there, and you'd be thumbing a ride home. But, alas, I'm heading the other direction, Nebraska, where I did not see a single land cruiser, not one of any make, year, model

Back from Vacation now

Back home from vacation and now really wanting to sell the cruiser since it's lost its home under the RV port to an RV. Anyways, willing to let it go for $5,000. Great cruiser, be it a daily driver or tweak it to run 37's, it's ready to do it all. Pretty firm at $5k since it's a damn good deal. Read initial post with all the info and you'll see how much you get for $5k. Thanks.

SOLD!!!

This cruiser will be busy making a retired couple happy as it takes them anywhere they want to go through the AZ deserts in winter. Hope you guys get many years of enjoyment out of it!
