Looking for a trail partner...Leaving 9-10am headed over Tin Cup Pass, Taylor Pass, then over Pearl Pass into Crested Butte. It's supposed to be a high of 43, so was looking for a fellow wheeler to come along. Also, will be doing Scholfield Pass on the 28th. PM me if interested...We have a family of 4.

We just got a bunch of new snow above 10,000 feet in Summit county last night. Check the weather and see if the passes are still passable

Yeah, my cousin who lives near Cedaredge said it snowed down to 9000 ft...not sure I want to be on Pearl Pass with the family in cold, snowy and icy conditions. Probably going to cancel. I've never done Pearl, but have read not a smart move to be on in freezing conditions. Thought?

They are saying some of the passes around Ouray have now been closed due to snow. I know it is a little ways from CB, but seems to indicate the beginning of the end of doing the high passes for the year out there. A couple of weeks ago we were getting snow on Corkscrew, California and Imogene.

I don't think I would want to be on Taylor or Tincup with my family if the weather is closing in.
