I was using Yakima towers and bars but I will remove them this week or cut off the bars so they don't protrude past the towers. A tree grabbed one of the bars a couple weeks ago (the trail was very narrow) and I ended up with a bent roof and a unattached (almost) gutter where the tower was mounted.
