Hello mudders, I just adjusted my t-bars in the front and gained 2.5" I am ordering Slee spacers for the rear and plan on running 295's. Any suggestions guys? My first 100, but 7 time cruiser owner. Still have my 82 freeborn red FJ40.

Lots of threads about this. 21.5" up front seems to be about the max, but you need the front to be sitting at least an inch lower than the rear. Measure from center cap to the fender. You might want to drop the front back down until you get the spacers installed. The truck is going to feel pretty squirrely with the front up in the air like that.

Great to see another NWA 100!

Q: Why does the front of a UZJ100 need to be 1" lower than the rear, basically having a stink-bug stance.

I have the Just Diff's everything suspension lift on mine and am trying to get the front up level with the rear.

It has to do with the suspension geometry, specifically it reduces the caster angle making it steer faster and self center less. The result is it can make the steering sketchy and the truck more likely to wander.

Plus when you load it up with gear and people, the back will be sag down and be lower than the front. Then you'll look like every other goofball in socal who thinks their Ranger or Tacoma with the front end pointing to the sky looks cool haha.
