BSM for 2017 issue.

i’ve been nocticing everytime I passed the big semi truck on the freeway my Driver side BSM lit up steady,
(my suv is on the left lane and the semi truck on the right lane) The passenger BSM sometime blinking and sometime not. I took it to the dealership and they check it out normal. Anyone have the same issue?

Yes, mine too. I tracked down the cause to be taller plants or higher barriers on the left (DS) of the road. It doesn’t take much to trigger the blind spot monitor.

Thanks, it weird that it would detect semi trucks but dectect the barriers.
