Sorry I'm going miss it this weekend!!! Going chicot state park Sunday so someone don't here all the good stories about Scc, what stay in someplace don't leave someplace....:hhmm:

The general gist was.

Scc.
The jeep jaunt this weekend.
A kisachie trip, dates To be voted on in there own thread.
A year end ride at Sicily. December 13-16
New members.

and I believe that's main highlights.

Yes Sir I'll be putting the minutes together today and sending out a report for those that missed it :)

Cody mostly covered it.
  • We reviewed our SCC trip
  • JayCee Falcon came by to visit and talk about the Jaunt next weekend, we have a good group going.
  • Discussed a Sicily Island or Kisatchie year end ride, the majority thought exploring Kisatchie sounded good. Will have a thread up today on making those plans.
  • Cody's going to Sicily in Dec for any folks wanting to join him will add the dates here and FB.
 
Received a very nice compliment from JayCee this afternoon. I honestly didn't think he'd want to stay for the whole meeting yesterday and he even stayed a bit afterwards. He really liked our meeting format and said its much more civil and organized than other meetings he's been too. He even asked if it would be ok to join us on a few outings sounds like we're more their speed. In short he liked what he saw and heard yesterday and though we won't ever convince him out of a Jeep I would bet he'd steer any Toyota enthusiasts our direction and he meets a lot of folks through radio. He's also a cool guy to hang out with.

Absolutely :), I contacted him 6 years ago to host our cub scout group to show them what a radio host actually does and that was just the start of things hes done a lot for both Scout and BSLCA when called on I should be going to this Jaunt every year. Good guy when it comes to doing things for the community and he mentioned it yesterday anytime we have community projects he'd like to help us by putting it on the station website and giving us some mentions. If only his station was Classic Rock :lol:

Actually the minutes went out today as I went out with Paul to Pizzaville last evening to send Rodney off and of course after a couple of pitchers of beer I was in no condition to be sitting at a computer :D
 
So, seems like Pizza Village is our new place... Maybe a good idea to change the first post, saying where it's normaly held, and possibly the website, never know who only looks there.. :D

We are having our first club meeting of the year Sunday February 17th from 1 -3 at Pizza Village South. That's on Kaliste Saloom. Please try to attend :beer:

We will also be collecting dues for those of you that haven't paid yet ;)
