I'm here guys catching up on work here at the office but I always have my nose in here. I spoke to Mike several times yesterday and Scott and sounds like the meeting went well. Thanks again for running with it Mike. Was thinking of all of you and wishing I was there. My trip was an ordeal but the 80 is now part of the family and the wife and kids signed off on it when I got home last night.

Armond I'll start a thread for the crawfish boil so we can discuss, Thank you again for hosting it. I talked to Matt yesterday and he was asking so he can schedule off for it.

OK folks. Some of you have heard me speak of a friend who has a BJ42 here in New Iberia. It has been moved to Lafayette and is ready for inspection by anyone who would like to see it. Unfortunately, I have been asked to accompany anyone who might want to take a look at it. I think Theriot can definitely get away with being the escort in my absence since he knows the folks who own it and the move was made so that he or I could check it out mechanically. It does not run at present and any help getting it running would be appreciated. I am under the impression that it was "sabotaged" by a disgruntled ex-husband. I doubt that anything serious was done to it. It ran perfectly before the s***E hit the fan and the couple parted ways. Anyway, I anticipate this rig being for sale within a few months and I can pretty much guarantee that the BSLCA crew will get the first shot at it. It'll probably sell for somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000. From my very recent conversations with the "owner" I will have some input regarding that. If anyone is interested taking a look see at this beast, let me know. It is an impressive rig. PLEASE, this is a sensitive issue and I am good friends with the ex-husband and I don't want him to get the wrong impression. My main concern is for this vehicle and that it gets treated with respect and ends up in a good home. I would appreciate it if this was kept between us and the 10,000 participants on mud:)

LOL... good deal bud. I'm sure it'll sell. 15 - 20 K... don't know about that. Cruisers seem to be a buyers market at the moment. You're rig would be more likely to fetch those numbers if I remember the 42 well enough..

If anyone goes to see it I'd like to go... just b/c I love to look at em all.

Mike and I were just talking about that last week on our shopping spree. I know we can find a good home for it within the club as I know we all would like to see it stay here :clap: Thanks for posting Armond and lets go look at it this weekend we can see what it needs to get it running. I'm sure a good battery, good diesel and possible fuel filter for starters if its been sitting a long time. We can get some pics while we're there. :)

Let me know if you need me to get any parts for it. There are some real easy ways to check and see if the fuel pump is the problem and some other easy things to check as well. I have had a couple of these and they are pretty simple. I am putting new injectors and a fuel pump diaphragm in mine just so I don't have any future problems with it. I can get cheap OEM parts here in the sates and also in Costa Rica if you need any.
 
I've given it some thought, and getting it to turn over is the easy part and a non-issue.

Getting it to run if it cranks should only require testing 7 things on the 3B. I'm pretty confident we'll have her running in no time.
 
Was emailing the Toyota Mag folks to see where my mag is. It was a b-day gift from the :princess: and I've not received anything from them yet. Some good stuff on their website including the PHH you were telling me about Mike.
