Much appreciated
OK folks. Some of you have heard me speak of a friend who has a BJ42 here in New Iberia. It has been moved to Lafayette and is ready for inspection by anyone who would like to see it. Unfortunately, I have been asked to accompany anyone who might want to take a look at it. I think Theriot can definitely get away with being the escort in my absence since he knows the folks who own it and the move was made so that he or I could check it out mechanically. It does not run at present and any help getting it running would be appreciated. I am under the impression that it was "sabotaged" by a disgruntled ex-husband. I doubt that anything serious was done to it. It ran perfectly before the ****E hit the fan and the couple parted ways. Anyway, I anticipate this rig being for sale within a few months and I can pretty much guarantee that the BSLCA crew will get the first shot at it. It'll probably sell for somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000. From my very recent conversations with the "owner" I will have some input regarding that. If anyone is interested taking a look see at this beast, let me know. It is an impressive rig. PLEASE, this is a sensitive issue and I am good friends with the ex-husband and I don't want him to get the wrong impression. My main concern is for this vehicle and that it gets treated with respect and ends up in a good home. I would appreciate it if this was kept between us and the 10,000 participants on mud![]()
