Sounds like you had some fun while helping out a neighbor...good thing the FJ Cruiser doesn't have carpet.

I've been thinking about ripping my carpet out the 80 and going with LineX and mats or similar.

After having the interior of the 4runner Stripped, and (partially) lined, i whole heartedly indorce this plan. only thing is there is more road noise... not like I noticed.

With the nice weather we are having and cattle people around here cutting and bailing hay I hit a cow bird with my truck this weekend . You can see the the wing mark he left on my hood.

I was changing the tires on my wifes car today and saw a Goodyear assurance tire on the wall. On the cardboard cut out that fills the rim spot is a pic of a blue Fj-40 climbing a hill. Pretty cool. And it is a current advertisement. The passenger side bumper is smashed in as well. It sure hurt to buy street tires instead of huge mud tires for my truck, but the family has to be safe. Maybe my 60 will be next. She sure needs some new ruba! I was in El Salvador when my swampers started coming apart and had to buy some of the old Firestone tires that were blowing up on the ford explorers. You know, the ones that were recalled in the states. I sure would like to get these off my truck. Ive been in one fj-60 that rolled and do not want to do that again.

P.S. I have a great set of firestones for sale!

Fall Cleaning..

I don't know what year fj-25 this is, but it was told to me that it was the first one imported into Costa Rica. I brought Marve Specter and his wife Kay along with my family to the Toyota Dealership in San Jose, CR. After the workers recognized Marve, they took us on a tour of the dealership and showed us some cool cruisers.

If you have time please do this http://tlca.org/2007/09/27/write-a-letter-to-save-tellico/, Tellico is a beautiful place TN/NC border in the heart of the Smoky MTN's. I hope we can all make the GSMTR ride next year there. Most all of us that made the Cruiser Crawl already filled this out but the more that is sent in the more of an impact it will make. :)

Sweet. Thanks for the pics bud. I wanted to make a trip there to do that cruiser tour before I met you now I want to go even more. :)
