No worries brother, sometimes you just gotta do it. The old girl I'm working on had the same thing done. Will have to find some more flares for this 74 tub. Will bring it home in the future for the beast and a spare frame.

Y'all talking in code or what?

Scott's doing some trimming for some 38's  teaser pic above with the metal on the ground. I can't believe ya'll let him get away with that.

Scott did you put your spacers on front wheels? Fix the rubbing.

Spacers on the hood in lieu of getting the flares on this weekend.

Scott are you going with the TJ flares or what?

Yeah, those flares I showed you. The PO had riveted the last flares on and actually went into the dam cab w/ rivets.... that just sucks. No matter what you do, shy of cutting the entire lip off the flare you can't quite cover that crap up. looks good for now.

Well, a quick line on Stainless carriage bolts (3/8") on $.79 at the depot...cost me under 10 bucks for 6 3/8" SS carriage bolts with a box of 3/8" lock washers (stainless) and 4 hex bolts with nuts. ALOT cheaper than ordering. Plus lots of extra washers. Look in the metal storage bins for them if you need any. Dunno what the Bolt supply places charge, but it seems reasonable to me for the size, etc...anyway, my bumper is just waiting on the 8274 now. I will be finishing the rebuild on the 8274 Friday morning.

Looks good bud. ;)

do you have to move the axle back to fit 38's (flip the springs?)? it seems like with our 35's itll hit that crossmember in front of the fender.

Don't know as of yet bud... the 38's are a ways down the road...lol. Landry was just throwing some BS I'd say. However, I did cut the tub out to try to cover the PO crap and fit the TJ's as well as "make some room" for one day ;)

Good lookin' bumper Mike. It will look even better when the warn is attached. Maybe I missed it, but where did the bumper come from?

Just ordered it from CCOT. After seeing yours, and then the 4+ unit that Scott bought, I decided that the 3/8" all around was indeed stout, and I plan to add on to the HFS bumper later to come up with a hybrid of the two...we'll see.

Thanks Armond.

Dad and I stripped the two 40's to the frame. Here is pics of the 74 tub being lifted off the frame. The donor drivetrain we'll be using. The orange 70 tub is being blasted and POR 15'd waiting on body mount kit to bolt it down. Will mask and paint the frame change the oil pan, diff gasket and put the 4 inch OME springs with new bushings, U-Bolts and spring plates. This dial-up is killing me.
