Since we're talking about horns, how could Toyota make such sissy sounding horns on such tough machines? I blew mine last night and was embarrased over what I heard.

Thats because with a rugged vehicle like the cruisers built to cross the plains of Africa and the rest of the world they didn't figure on using the horn much. Source you some horns for a 1955 chevy sedan or truck thats the sound you're looking for. :D

Theriot???

Man, he must be busy this week!!!

I hadn't had Theriot sighting in almost a week!

Probably playing in someone's burned puter.

I talked to him on the way to work this a.m. and he said that same thing he hadn't been on in a week he's been so busy. He'll probably be getting on this afternoon to catch up on all the chat.

Caught this guy and the first is pretty much how I feel this week (as do we all I'm sure):

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary, which is on April Fools day, in St. Francisville at one of the plantation/bed & breakfast places (not the 'haunted one' ;) ). Pretty reasonable prices, beautiful grounds, great accommodations- Very nice to get away

Looks very nice...thanx for posting the pics.

Well, found out yesterday that we may be expecting another...we'll wait and see...aside from that, I've been working non-stop since last Saturday morning. Good news is that I have paid for all my cruisers projects and can order that snorkel and lockers! You know its bad when you work on puters and you don't even get a chance to check your own email!!!

Ready for a wrenching session myself!

well got the beast runnin today, and got the top off and went cruisin. goin topless is

however :)()....i need a new oil pump :( oil pressure started dipping pretty low when sittin at a light....

Here's my $.02 worth:

Definitely get a good mechanical gauge and get a true reading. You basically just want around 10~15 lbs per 1000 RPMS. If you have that, you are fine.

ONE Thing I LIKE VERY MUCH about the factory one (mine is very accurate and consistent) is that it is ELECTRICAL. I've seen many folks running aftermarket units that are mechanical...worse, I've seen the lines break and you get Oil spraying all over the place...just what I don't want....just be careful if you use that type. Also, most of the time when you have low oil pressure, its not the oil pump. They are simple and reliable, and usually not the culprit.
