Sounds good. Wasn't sure she was planning on "giving" us that banner but we can check. Don't worry about asking for now b/c I saw her yesterday and I said I'd check w/ her on Monday. No worries.. email her if you'd like. I have some $$$ for the gumbo. If you want to try to get one made quickly, we can call Jerome's place or just get someone here in town to knock it out.

We can just go walk in and cut one down from the showroom. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

Hello Everyone

Hi guys... nice to see a TLCA chapter in Louisiana. I moved out to New Mexico from New Orleans after the hurricane. My wife and I will be moving back to Louisiana, Baton Rouge specifically, in July. When I moved out here, the 4x4 bug bit me really hard so I bought an 07 FJ Cruiser. It isn't really modded yet, other than tires, a CB, and a GPS, but I have had the opportunity to wheel it a little bit in varying conditions. I'm also headed to Cruise Moab in May. Are any of you going to make that drive? I know it's a long one, but it sure seems like it is going to be a wild event.

I really hope to hook up with you guys when we move back to Louisiana. Take care for now. I'll see you on the forums!!!

Welcome!

Few of us just getting back from Gilmer. Doubt I'd make the Moab but there are many I'd like to make.

Jason (BlkDog) lives in BR and someone else is transplantin there from the West. The LA4x4 is also a good wheelen Louisiana area to check out.

We look forward to meeting you.

The FJC's did great in Gilmer.

Keep in touch; We look forward to meeting you. I doubt anyone from our club makes the Moab trip as we're just getting cranked up and thats one long haul. You'll have a blast in Moab I did it in a 97 Heep I rented with a friend a few years ago. Its a great time. Check out Tellico, TN when you get back; its the Moab of the South with alot of greenery.

Last two. I hate putting pics of a heep in our thread, but I had rather bash a rented heep than my restored 40 any day. :D Moab was freakin awesome as was the scenery for us flat footed folks.

Wheeling my buddy's 76 Bronco in Tellico, TN. My next favorite vehicle outside my addiction for TLC's is the 66 - 77 Broncos. ;)

Here's the link to Katemcy Rocks out in West Texas. The Lone Star Toyota guys have an event out there in March. I think it's worth looking in to.

It would be great to go, but I won't be able to make it. My anniversary is in March. If I leave to go wheeling I'm sure to come home to an empty house. :frown: I spoke to a friend Josh and he says its awesome. Thats where he rolled his rig. He said it was a 10hr drive pulling his rig. 9hrs in his truck with no rig.

Jason,

I have beer for you from the seats!

I'd really like to go, but the cruiser won't be ready. If anyone is going to have an open seat, I'd pitch in for gas, beer, entry fee...
Also looking at getting a set of cruiser axles brought back from there too

If I hear of anyone going I'll tell them to call you Jason. Hows the cruiser coming? What have you got done so far? Are you doing a frame off or just modding it to wheel?

Larry
