Browsing Forum From iPhone/touch

I browse the forum quite a bit from my iPod touch with its built in safari browser. The main page of the forum shows up as it would on a pc or mac however when I go into a sub forum (like the 70 or diesel sections) the forum appears as a list of threads and when going into any thread no pictures will appear. Is there any way to get the forum to display as normal on a mobile device that has a full fledged browser built in?

the system used to switch to mobile for Ipod users, but was turned off months ago..perhaps it's cacheing the settings from then?

strange....no clue...

Yeah I thought it might be something like that but I've restored my ipod and also cleared the cache numerous times....

woody I just got an iPod Touch yesterday (i.e. no old cookies and I just logged in for the first time with it) and I'm looking at new content and it's switching to mobile mode. Here I'll check a few forums....


The Help Corner forum displays as normal, same as on a computer.


Every other forum I checked switches to mobile.

Pressing the Classifieds or the TLCA/Clubhouse tab switches to mobile.




EDIT: I just learned from this thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/ih8mud-com...letin-have-settings-optimized-blackberry.html that it might be browser specific. I'm thinking maybe that I have a newer version of Safari on my iPod Touch and this version is on the wrong list...


I can't figure out any details about this version of Safari. about: doesn't do anything....

If it means anything certain forums are full mode on my blackberry, but others (chat) are mobile mode.

I don't really prefer one or the other (because mobile mode kills attached images and is kinda annoying imo) but I never cared enough to ask for a change. May be a piece of the puzzle though.

x2 on my Crackberry. It's hit or miss.
