I removed the footrest for more leg room.
Unlike the 80 (and the 60 if I remember right) there is no carpet under the rest.
I need a chunk of carpet the size of the rest.
Where can I get a chunk or where can I get a piece that will match?

I'll trade you a piece of my carpet for the footrest. I have plenty of room since the Vortec conversion & my custom mounted LoKar pedals. Modified a new LC footrest but it isn't right (angles your left leg against the door).

Got a pic of the pedals? I'm intrigued now...

There're only 2: a 55 Chev non-power brake (big so you can hit it easy) & the gas, which has a SS cable to the throttle body. I positioned, welded, cut, re-positioned, re-welded (or at least my welder friend did) over & over until I got the brake pedal in the right spot. My wife doesn't know how to drive an automatic, so I thought it would be a bad idea if she could hit the brake & the gas at the same time with her right foot. Now I can stretch out my left leg & rest my foot on the floor/firewall, or brace on the dead pedal (footrest). When I get my Audi sport seats in it'll be real comfortable (Audi armrests on the doors, too).

I'll snap some pix when I get it back, hopefully next week. The body shop fixed the problems from it starting in reverse in my garage & bending the tailgate & left rear door. The 4x4 shop has to hook up the park/neutral lockout & re-do some minor items. I'll need to baby it for a while until the new spiders & side gears seat in, then look out!

Ahh, so quite a bit of work involved there. At first I thought they were just bolt-in. I'm curious to see how you got 'em to fit though, so most definately throw down some pics :D
