I have a old MM electric winch .. I bought it around 2004 and work quite good .. well was .. the problem ( it's a recurrent problem ) it's a MM E-12000 I thought was the very first attemp of MM on electric winches ..

The problem on this one ( that let me down in our last trip ) and it's a recurent problem .. it's the clutch.

The section that hold the clutch in the carcas .. the issue is the clutch or the tooth on the carcas won't go deep enough to hold the pull ..

Anyone with the same situation and know how to solve it ?

I was thinking in just get the new gearboz carcas side and use it .. coz mine actually the tooths on mine are worn out ..

in my case the cluch travel just enough to engage the carcas .. but just need more contact area between parts to hold.

Mi intention it's move it to the rear and get a kickass 16.5 for front ..

In my case ( open the winch several times ) the problem it's how much contact get the clutch against the carcas .. but looks like there are not really popular in states ..

I am not sure what the problem is, but if the clutch gear won't slide far enough to engage the drum, maybe the free spool lever pawl is worn or the slot that it engages in the gear. The Chinese gear boxes seem to be interchangeable and they are pretty cheap in the US. They are about $85, but you can get the entire winch for about $300.

My winch carcas said T-Max .. where I can contact a T-max dealer to get the gearbox carcas .. ? ( case )

You guys must like beating a dead horse.:deadhorse:
Save your money and get a used Warn.

I am not sure what you mean by carcas, but if it is the gear on the plate with the mounting feet, ebay has them for $38. If it is the planetary gear assembly, you can also get them on ebay.
