Was he trying to make a profit?

Was he trying to make a profit?

I don't know what he paid or is asking, but he did mention something awhile ago about maybe selling it and buying a Bob-mobile.

He told me when he bought it that he was going to "try" it out and go from there. Deep down I think he is a heep guy, not that there is anything wrong with that...

Funny. I make that little light limp wristed hand wiggle sign when I say "heep" guy too.

I emailed the owner and asked if there was a problem...following is his response...I didn't ask about a price...I looked on Craigslist but didn't see it.

Hey Brittan. I was wandering when I would hear from you. :) I figured you might of saw it on Craigslist or the gentleman that works here might of mentioned it (he drives a yellow FJ).

Nothing went wrong. Bottom line it doesn't have the clearance of my TJ. I've wheeled it several times now (Hackberry Creek being the latest) and the IFS is a limiting factor on ground clearance. I'm by no means a hard core rock crawler but I do like to push it from time to time. Other than that I really do like the truck. No other complaints. Its been solid. The front locker does give it an edge but there is no way to get around the clearance issue other than a SAS and I don't want to go that route. The extra cab room has been nice and I will probably miss that the most when our little one is born next month.

Its funny because went I started looking for an alternate rig, your truck was the perfect fit. More room and was ready to wheel right out of the box. And I'll have to admit that I miss driving my TJ. Its fun to drive with the top down and the doors off. In the end I may regret not keeping the truck due to space issues. Only time will tell.

its a great truck. I know he has sold the light force lights off it and replaced them but I haven't seen the truck since I sold it. Let me know if you'd like additional details.

Oh...and Phil...sorry I don't live up to your academic standards...maybe after the next cruiser meet you can bring along a spelling lesson and give me some home work.
