Thats exactly where I was leading the seller when I asked the question about the picture of two different beds . He BS'd me that he added original OEM bed hooks to the bed. You can see he's imported several and recently sold them .RE: the BaT listing:
All is not what it appears to be. I have a lot of admiration for what can be done to "fix-up" an old vehicle in a third world country, when kept there and proudly used by the locals who kept the old girl running. Whoever created this--it's not their first rodeo with a Land Cruiser. This was created to be sold in the US to someone not too familiar with an FJ45 pickup truck. Decals and new VIN plates, colorful upholstery, but 3-tons of paint slathered over everything, especially items that were left untouched, a swapped engine, a later tailgate/valence, a very dubious brake system with a single brake master, etc., etc..
Obviously someone has made a business out of this for an unsuspecting market. Can't blame 'em for trying, but..................
Clever idea to show a picture of the old folks "original" owners, 'cause you know they're honest and the seller would never cheat them out of their most important possession. Sad, all the way around.
