For those of you not familiar with Brenthel Industries Brenthel Industries | Home and their sister company Baja Kits High Performance Lift Kits, Long Travel Kits, and Suspension Kits, brothers Jordan and Johnathan Brenthel have been in the baja racing seen for many years. They used to work at Millen Motorsports (Ryan Millen raced the Tundra Pro last year and won his class in the Baja 1000) and started their own company several years ago. They design, fab, and manufacture all parts in house and appear to be pretty damn good at what they do and really busy:

There were over 20 baja chassis in various states of build, completion, or tuning in the shop as well as numerous weekend warrior trucks, like my own, having baja kits or more installed.

Four of their race trucks that will be in the upcoming Baja 1000 were also on sight for me to drool over! (sorry, I didn't get pics of these!)

Jordan and JT gave me a full tour of the shop and discussed all the little details of what they do and why they do it. The brothers had just returned from Dubai where they had been flown over to build a truck for someone with a little money! Dubai also happens to be the catalyst of why they are getting into the 200 series market. There is a demand and consumer market need for UCA & LCA for the 200's in the Middle East. They were asked to design and manufacture the parts for this market and as luck would have it for me, they needed a stock 200 to test fit and demo the product line on. They are working hand in hand with King Shocks on this project. By the this time tomorrow or early Wednesday, I will have the first set of Baja Kits LC200 UCA & LCA as well as a set of external adjuster Kings on all four corners! A photo shoot will follow and then a test run out to Barstow!

I asked Jordan to take lots of pics so I can post them up as the work is done. I'll keep you updated...

Had a meeting this morning by Brenthel's shop so I stopped in to check progress. The brothers had left earlier in the morning to drive out to Parker, AZ for this weekends SCORE Race, BlueWater Desert Challenge.

They had just finished this build for a customer in TX.

I managed to take some more pics of race trucks in various stages. As i said previously, they do all their design and jabbing in house and the 20 guys working are no joke. They are busting their asses and obviously really good at what they do. This is the chassis of they're new design baja truck:

I worked my way to the back of the shop and found this pile (I think the banana was in the tail pipe!):

I grabbed one of my factory LCA's and set them side by side:

Still a few days of work away from completion.

There was also a RPG built Raptor in the shop that the customer was having completely rebuilt by Brenthel with their parts and a full caged cab! All the RPG stuff was coming off!

Some details from Jordan about their arms:

-The main concept with these is strength and durability to handle the extreme abuse LC owners overseas are putting them thru.
- The uniballs allow for more articulation and can handle the offroad forces much better and longer than balljoints
- Increased wheel travel #tbd
- 2 stage durable powdercoat with badge color option
- Zero fittings on bushing for easy maintenance
- All misaligns and adapters are stainless steel
- The lower arm inner pivots are 4130 steel with delrin bushings for zero deflection, this is literally the same design as our parent companies trophy truck bushing setup
-This system adds caster to increase on and offroad handling which is normally compromised when raising the height of your truck.
- We are in the works with uniball winter protection kit for extra protection in harsh environments.
