Has anyone had any trouble adding the mod to these years? I've successfully done this for a number of trucks, but they've all been '95–'97s. I have tried twice to get this to work on my son's '94 and it refuses to behave.

So I guess I'm the only one...lucky me. Now I need to find a new master switch for a '93/'94.
I have no experience or ideas on this but…. I did install power windows in my FJ40… they work great…fast, smooth and tight. The company that makes them, and they’re all over eBay and YouTube, makes an option for the up control thing you may be talking about. Maybe there is a clue in their setup that may help?

I did it on my 93. Worked for about a year then it stopped working. I then removed the mod and it still didn’t work. It wasn’t the contacts, it just stopped working altogether. The drivers window switch became so unreliable that I changed the whole switch panel for a used unit and decided I would not do the auto up again.
So, I’m not sure if it caused the intermittent problem or not.

My board has perforations for a diode, but there don't seen to be any traces connected to them.

Has anyone successfully used a switch doctor repro switch?

I also used a generic replacement switch. Different circuit board than OEM so auto up isn't possible
