I got the Brake Light light up this afternoon.
It triggered VSC and ABS lights as well.

I've looked at some causes.
The brake fluid is at Max level, so its fine.
The Brake light is on when parking brake is engaged, but its not trigging any other lights in this case. My parking brake is disengaged (pedal is up).
No Check Engine Light on, so its not a computer bug.

Trying to see other causes. Any help is appreciated...

This happened to my wife's '03 4Runner as well. Traced it out to a pinched ABS sensor wire on the left front wheel (due to my ham-fistedness when installing a spacer lift, most likely). Repaired the wire, then had to do a "VSC calibration" to get the dash lights to turn off. I found a thread over on Toyota120.com with a TSB on how to do the calibration, it involved a sequence of turning the key on and pressing the brake pedal a few times. PM me if you can't find it and I could probably dig up a pdf for you.
