Brake Pedal

When i pump my brakes with the car off, the pedal does not stiff up. Is this normal? there is no leak in fluids.

The system got build in diagnostic. It would not let you drive if it detect the system had failed.
The soft feeling might be normal or your brake lines getting old and need replacement.

I believe our brakes are electronically assisted not vacuum assisted.

I never thought about the brake line. I bleed the fluid with 1 quart of new fluid but it still came out red and not clear. I will replace the front and rear with SS line and bleed them again.
