Brake master cylinder for BJ74

I found the Toyota part number for a 74 brake master cylinder but my local dealer cannot find one for me. Is there another master cylinder that will work? Any other source for a OEM master cylinder?

I kind of need it in a hurry as the brakes are not functioning very well.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's a common master... should be no problem to get one.

Can I use one from an FJ60 or other Cruiser?

I used a BJ74 master and booster on a FJ73, they looked identical between the cars, pretty sure a 60 series master was the same too

i put a HJ60 cylinder into a HJ75 no problems.
