I'm looking for a quick and easy way to finish up my brake swap on my 66'. I've replaced my front axle with a 79' and also replaced my master with the booster from the same truck.

So... i'm in need of most all the lines from the master all the way to the calipers (PO cut most of the lines that I did get during removal).

Attached is a couple of pics from SOR, the only lines I don't need are #'s 38 and 60.

Thanks guys,

Kevin

Most of the small lines are or were available from the dealer for reasonable prices. Not sure about the lines on the firewall. A couple vendors also sell an aftermarket stainless steel line kit that fits OK but not quite great. I have used the kit that Cruiser Solutions sells and with a little tweeking it worked fine.

I've called my local dealer and they say they can't get anything for a vehicle that old. As for Cruiser Solutions, I was kinda hoping to spend a little less than 500 bucks on my steel lines/flex lines.

Thanks anyway.

For anyone else out there, I don't need all the parts from one person. If you have any of these lines or hoses, shoot me a PM and we can work something out.

you can byuy stainless brake line from summit in different sizes. bent it to the shape yo need, put your fittings on it and flare it. including the tube and flaring kit it might cost you $100 and it'll be good practice for that upcoming trail repair!

you can also buy metric lines from napa they bend real easy ,have used them many times over the years with no problems good luck

When I tried to replace my old lines on my previous axles I couldn't find anyone who had the correct fitting size to adapt to mine. What size/thread pitch should I be looking for to fit onto 79 master and axles?

Thanks,

Kevin

That's easy! 10mm x 1.0 pitch. Pretty universal. Give the local autodrone a shot. You'll be surprised!;)

Best
