So I just did a lot of work on my brakes. Replaced a few hard lines, all soft lines, all calipers and pads.

Before I did this, the brake pedal wasn't great but wasn't terrible. Now the pedal is pretty firm initially, then after 1/2 a second of being on the pedal it drops further and is soft, and repeats each time I step on the pedal.

Vacuum booster passes the normal test of stepping on pedal with car off, it firms up, and then drops when you start the car. So I'm thinking the master cylinder is bypassing internally since there is no signs of it leaking. But I wanted to check in here since I've heard how difficult the brakes can be on this car, and see if I'm missing anything.

I kind of have a similar issue right now myself and I pegged it to be the master cylinder also. I haven't gotten around to actually replacing it yet though. I think you're on the right track
