SO yes, I have searched and read through the various threads but before I decide to buy this LC, I'd like some custom input.
1998 LC 199k miles - Brakes felt spongey, I press like you normally would with not much stopping power, then I REALLY press it down and it finally comes in...but still did not grab HARD like you would expect when almost flooring the pedal. No screeching stop, just a leisurely stop like an old man easing into a bath tub.
- The double pump issue that some have experienced is not whats going on. The pedal was the same each time throughout the test drive. At 15 mph, at 30 mph, at 65 mph, same thing.
- ABS light is not on, so its not that
- did not hear any odd noises coming from the brakes
- no wobble or shuddering when braking, steering wheel stayed solid
Is this rotors/pads? or something more expensive like the cylinder?
