Quick Back story: About a week ago I started noticing some metal on metal sound from rear drivers side brakes. Pads were down to the metal on that side, no big deal. I ordered OEM Pads and Rotors. I work in Sales at a VW dealer so I just had one of the Techs after work pull the wheels and "attempt" the brake change. Turned out I needed a Caliper, again not a huge deal, the truck has 185k and it has become a daily driver for either myself or my wife. Got both new rear calipers had everything put on, all was good. Went to bleed the brakes and one of the brake lines blew. Went over to the Toyota store next to us, they didnt have the parts in stock, ordered them for me, at our dealership pricing which was nice. They were supposed to be in today so I could have it wrapped up this evening. I just got back from Toyota and they didnt come in. They said tomorrow they should be in. Im getting frustrated with this, and I dont want to run into this situation again. this is a pic of the 3 parts ordered. Are there any other pieces that I need to address or that I should upgrade?

you blew the metal lines by the master? that seems odd....

Was it rusted? That's crazy.

@Landpimp heres a pic of the blowout. It looked like it was "flat" in the area it blew too.

Ok yeah, I was gonna say that rust or mechanical damage would be the only way you could rupture that. Wow.

Now I see why you called it a break rather than a brake! That is MAX rust!
It shows how destructive rust is to all components. As Muddy Bean said: Wow.
