I noticed a bit of brake fluid that could be coming from the reservoir area. Has anyone had a brake fluid leak caused by the rubber grommets that are underneath this reservoir? I imagine at 15 years old, they are hard and brittle by now.

I have only had to add fluid a couple of times in the last 3 years, but I want to get ahead of this.

One tip is that it is common to overfill the reservoir. If you fill to max with full pressure on the booster, the level wil go up to the cap when that pressure is released. Level is to be checked after releasing all fluid in the booster by pressing the brakes fully 30 times, with ignition off.

I think you are on to something. I probably over filled up the last time I added fluid. I've owned this rig for 12 years, and I never noticed the need to pump your brakes printed right on the canister!
