So in the summer I had my brakes done at Les Schwab...

I now have the "Brake" dashlight come on at 1/2 brightness randomly when I drive....Sometimes it remains on at 1/2 brightness after releasing the parking brake. It generally goes away in this situation after travelling 30ft or so...However sometimes it goes on while I'm driving and can take up to a minute or so to go away. It's only going to 1/2 brightness and in no way do I feel the parking brake engaging.

So did Les Schwab funk something up....is the parking brake indicator out of whack?

TIA

Have you checked your brake fluid level? The light indicates the parking brake, also indicates low brake fluid level.

If your brake fluid level is fine, then the fluid level sensor is going out. The cap assembly has a level sensor. I had the same symptoms and finally got tired of the light going off and on and replaced it. Smart shopper price is around $90.

Is there any way to unplug the fluid sensor?

I check all my fluids regularly anyway...

I assume by summer you mean last summer? If so how many miles have you put on? If it is over 10k your pads could be shot. When my rear pads were down to nothing my light appeared--I think this due to less fluid being in the resivor. Is your emergency brake adjusted correctly?

Sure: unplug it!! :D ;p

Seriously, it's integrated into the master cylinder cap, and has a zero-banana connector right there...

BTW, supposedly 91-92 (at least) cruise control won't work with it malfunctioning/disconnected.
