Brake booster question....

I heard a rumor that you can use a 4 runner or early model fj80 break booster/master cylinder in an FJ60? Anyone heard of anything along these lines in terms of how difficult it is? I heard it was a bolt up deal, but find it hard to believe, but hopefully someone will prove me wrong. Any words of wisdom would be helpful or links to someone who has had the same question. Thanks

A 1 inch master cylinder swap (FJ80 and 4runner) to a 60 is pretty common. I don't know if it requires you to swap the booster as well.

But, why do you want to do the swap?

I have a 4runner brake booster along with a 1"MC in my 60. Everything works good, the thing you need to remember with the 4runner brake booster is that the check valve is inline with the vacuum line. It is not attached to the booster like the 60's is. Hope that makes since.
