Did some work this weekend which required that I disconnect the left rear brakeline just before the caliper. (JDM 81 RHD).
Once I completed all of the work, I went to bleed the brakes. 2 man method, not a pressure kit. Sequence was Left rear, right rear, left front, right front, LSPV.
I initially got a spurt of fluid then some air from the left rear, but absolutely nothing on that corner after that. All others bled normally. Brake pedal stays solid, but I know there is an issue at the left rear corner, I just don't know what it might be.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

The bleeder could be clogged? Not much else to it unless the line is collapsed. I did a front brake job this weekend and when I went to bleed the system the left rear would not bleed. I removed the bleed screw and cleaned out a ton of debris and had to clean out the inside of the caliber bleed port until fluid flowed out. Reinstalled and all good. I use a power bleeder because it’s a one man show around here.

You could also try blasting it out with brake clean that hole on the inside for the bleeder is very small. The brake clean straw fits perfect inside the bleed head to blow into the caliper and maybe free up some loose rust. Just make sure the bleeder is screwed out so it has a math to go.

FJ80oregon, Thank you for both of your replies!
I was thinking that maybe the bleeder was blocked but wasn’t sure if I needed to remove the bleeder screw or not. I guess I could also disconnect the lines the same place I did when I was working on it this weekend and try to clean it all out.

Thanks again!

Get the speed bleeder valves, there are total of 5 on our rig including the LSPV and bleed the brakes a couple times in the factory recommended order. One man job.

The only other addition to that is I would bleed the LSPV first as well.

RHD truck:
LSPV
LR
RR
LF
RF
LSPV

The LSPV is the highest point in the system other than the MC, so air bubbles tend to migrate there and hang out.

Are you sure your LR caliper isn't seized? I've had lots of issues with seized calipers on the rear of my truck.

Thank you everyone for your advice!
I ended up having to pull the left rear bleeder screw completely out and i used a very fine dental pick to clean out the passage way inside the bleeder screw. All is good now!

BILT4ME, I was thinking about the height of the LSPV as well, but I was following the FSM step by step in order so that is why I bled in the order that I did. FWIW

Anyhow, I want to thank everyone for their replies!
