Tis steering box pedestal/mount off chassis
yup looks like steering box mount
Yep, that's the bracket from a lefthand drive 40's steering box. CCot use to buy them yrs ago when they had the mini truck conversion. Don't think they still make that offer. A thought just came up, with the angle of the plate that the box bolts, Slanting down toward the rear wheel, that looks like the correct angle to use for a mini box on a right hand drive. If the angle is correct, then a rhd bracket would work on a lhd as a direct boltup with a lhd minitruck box. Would look stock, not like the aftermarket adaptors. Now, where can I fine a rhd donor?
