My rear diff is sick, and I'm going to have to pull it and have it rebuilt. Does anybody in the Seattle area have an extra complete third member I could borrow for few weeks until I can have mine rebuilt? It doesn't matter the ratio, as I won't be using 4wd, it just needs to be able to bolt into a fj62 rear axle. I didn't see any for sale on Craigslist, and I'd like to keep the cost down as much as possible. I appreciate the help.

NOTE: I can't use my front carrier in the rear b/c it has an ARB = no window for C-clips.

ive got an Fj80 rear 3rd, it is fine spline 4:11 and should bolt right into your 62.. Its all ready to go, why not just buy it and swap it in, then rebuild your old one and sell it.. PM me if your interested!

Do the pinion flanges have the same driveline bolt patter?

I want to keep my current diff b/c it's 4.88 and ARBd.

I have 2- 3.73 FJ60 3rd members you can can borrow if you still want to go that route? But you dont get the extra ARB's :D

If I found a diff for sale relatively cheap I would just buy it, but for now I just assume borrow a diff that somebody has had sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

I just need a diff I can drop in, so I can get my rig out of my friends garage while my current one is being rebuilt.

I'm in Kirkland/Bellevue area. How about yourself?
