Hi,

I'm about to build a storage system for my 80 that I want to be able to transfer to my 100 when I get it.

If someone here has a couple of minutes spare and a tape measure, please could you measure the dimensions of the boot/trunk so that I can compare the two.

Below is a photo showing the dimensions I am after from a 100 series:

Here ya go, I had a few minutes before running out this morning.

It's in inches, sorry!

Oh, of note is I measures the tailgate from the bottom of the carpet (on the gate itself) as this is flush when in the upright position.

I also measured the interior (walls) and the entry width as noted by my yellow lines.

Let me know if it's not clear.

One other thing, I'd keep the base a little smaller, maybe a 1/4 or 1/2 inch per side because the 100's interior plastic wheel well covers flares out (toward the center) at the bottom.

The walls which are also plastic flare in the same manner.

How does the height compare?

Apologies for the huge necrobump, but I'm also looking for rear boot measurements for the 100 and the response isn't showing up for me anymore.

L#110 in the OP (wheel well to wheel well)
&
Wall to wall (above the wheel wells) or L#146, whichever is smaller

Thank you!

The rear width, the 146 measure on the 80, will be different between a 100 with and without a rear AC.

FWIW-

KISS Drawers for 100 and 80 are the same drawer system, with just different side pieces (wings), so your approach is sound. If the core fits your 80 without rubbing, it'll fit your 100.

The 2nd row seats recline different, with the 100s almost flat but the 80s more of an angle and bigger gap (see here for pics). The 100's recline so when you design your 80 set leave extra gap or overhang the top so you can trim if needed later.

Anchoring will be a little different as well, unless you go for turn-buckles which personally annoy me since they block otherwise usable storage. Both truck 3rd row seats use M10-1.25 x 45mm bolts, so you could even reuse those.

Have fun, you'll love drawers - my wife even swears we'll never own a vehicle again without them!

Can owner repost his photo, or somebody else to update the LC80's boot dimmensions?

Thx

I've been looking for a little bit but I'll continue to search for it. As soon as I locate it (if possible) I will tag you so that you get an alert that I tagged you.

Please be patient, I have sixteen metric tons of pics to look or search through and I probably didn't label it correctly. Thanks

Thanks mate, and Happy new 2025!!
Found sthg on the net, but not sure cause was not picture but text.
Just wanna find out if a 120cm long camping table can be put in depth (perpendicular with boot's barn door) or in wide between the wheel "drums".

Have this car, but for the momment is at my fathers place and can't measure it :) :): )

Happy new year for all of you!
