turbo,

You know the large key on your keyboard you stroke with your right pinky called "Enter" or "Return"?

You might want to become familiar with it. :flipoff2:

Mot :D

Mot, you're right, sorry for sentence structure and paragraph partitioning! I am good with written grammar when I wanna be (I can talk good and speak well too!) but here I'm just so proud of my dangling modifier, I kinda forget everything else! :flipoff2: But, here, how's this...

Absolutely, I would totally love to learn more about it. It is indeed the labor of someone's love and that someone has some really radical ability for sure, I'm sure.

Dont get me wrong, I too love performance, power and speed (I crave it actually in all forms) and I'm not saying the twin turbo thing sucks or anything; it just boggles my brains that anyone would want anything more than 375 to 400 horse with just 6 to 8 psi of boost on an 80 series for regular street runs.

As it is now I struggle to keep the thing to the ground; at times around corners especially with the full throttle, the thing wants to launch! Now I'd like to get the thing to launch on straights also but put it this way, if it could give me twice the power with half the reliability of the Safari, I would not take it. Even if it could give me say 100 more horses with the same reliability, I would not take it cause I can simply run 10psi with mine and get that too.

s*** if i offered Shed some beers, a place to stay (since Junk makes him camp in the yard) and some humility on my part he can probably have me pumping 600 horses without much loss of reliability at all.

Again, dont get me wrong, something like the single turbo MAF is working on is wonderfully tempting but beyond the Safari or the MAF, the twin turbo would have to absolutely spank the single turbos in each and every category or I would never want it.

Again, I think I was just disoriented while wandering my eye all over all those tubes, but I wished no offense on others and just sort of offered an opinion and you know what those are like, right? Anyway, yes please find out what the specs are, I would really love to know, not in a competitive way but in a curious way. Thanks.

Ohh, by the way, 800th post! :flipoff2:

turbocruiser, the TT FZJ80pics i posted the car produced up 450ps/4800rpm 52kg-m/3200rpm max speed 140mph. And compression changed from 9,0 into 8,3 and controled with the sub computer. The car equipped with Auto trans and with that so much powerband they are worries if the tranny soon will be break down. But of course once it break down need to be replaced with bullet proof one.

turbocruiser, the TT pics i posted the car produced up to 450hp & the TT kits will still available upon request -$3500.00 not including shipping and handling yet. With the specs so far he hasnt let me knoe
yet.(Terms of reliability and daily commute) but will update 'em :)

Hey End, thanks for that. With that in mind, although that price is perfect, I'd stay with safari as I can simply come up with the extra HP by going from 6.5 psi to about 8.5 psi...a turn of a wrench and zero dollars and I gots 450 baaabbbyyy!!!

Endless,

I think what you are doing is AWESOME! I wish I was there to help and learn as the TT is developed and tested. Definately keep us posted.

Personally, I'm of the mindset that it is best to keep it simple. I agree with Turbocruiser and would prefer one turbo to two - especially since this an inline 6 engine. Perhaps if it were a V6....

It should be very easy to turbocharge the 4.5L. There is plenty of room in the engine bay and all of the exhaust ports are on one side of the engine. If MAF ever finishes the single turbo for the 80 series, I hope we know about it. I would buy one.

As a side note, I would PAY FOR a turbo, but if someone gave me a supercharger for free, I would probably sell it on Ebay.

Just my 2 cents.

Ok late to the party. Sorry. :o

Endless......WTF??????????? ;p

Serious s*** dude..............details please

Reffug, not too serious we just share our knowledge & thoughts from the pros previous experienced what systems better also bang for bucks for FZJ80 between single and TTwell considering as for daily commute.

97 Land Bruiser, In my opinion the concepts of the TT may be little different than single.
and also probably has nothing to do with V6 and I-6.The TT setup for low end & high end.
so for example the turbo wont kick until you hit 2800rpm while the 2nd one will automatically generate once you up above 4000rpm. so still i dont know who/ what will perform well by having single or TT air to air intercooler ;p
