Mot has one, sitting our wherehouse. But it is true, Safari turbos are pretty much non-existant. We are installing our prototype kit as we speak, its pretty sweet. Bigger than Safari. I heard Slee might be doing the AVO, but it is a little spendy. That manifold does look sweet. We will be using a cast one though, pretty beefy, but not all tricked out looking. The turbine is though!!!

Steve, thanks for all the awesome posts. Can you quantify and qualify the comparison to Safari. In other words, how much bigger, what type of turbo mechanism (size, materials, bearings?), what type of cooling (coolant and oil, just one or the other?), is it intercooled, fit and finish, etc. In other words, is this thing gonna wanna make me swap out my Safari? Seriously, this is the place to start us drooling so lets at least let the head of the cat outta the bag! I realize you cannot speak price, for a while at least. :D

Nice setup system configuration heh?... :rolleyes: (TWIN TURBO FZJ80) & the guy i contacted will give me quotes" but for sure ull spank any SUV Supercharged/Vortech Expedition not to forget to mention UZJ100 easily :eek: :confused: and the next thing you smile to roll down your window.. what happened, whats wrong i thought you got BIG V8 (New Hi-Tech Stuff) with TRD Supercharged in it??? Hmm... probably thats what TRD stand for= Toyota Ready to get Dusted, sorry im not TRD fan and had bad experienced with it in the past ;p :flipoff2:

In our opinion, the new turbo kit will be better than safari yes. The new turbine will be bigger, and use ceramic ball bearings, the intercoller will be larger. Manifold will be set up different.... There are a few differences. As far as should you swap yours out? We will see when it is done, we will have dyno's and prices and whatnot. I think what you have right now is awesome, but I know the feeling of wanting to go one step farther. Except for the twin turbo pictures, I think I just blacked out for a few seconds. Endless, where did you find those?

Holy Crap! :eek: How in the world do you keep the Twins cool? I was thinking cooling would be an issue with one!

Very cool :cool: Please, more pics and specs and pics and ......

Steve, thanks for the response. I look forward to seeing what you have. Going back to that twin turbo thing, honestly, and absolutely no offense to anyone, but why in the world with the performance of Safari system, or this new MAF system would someone want a twin turbo? I mean the single strong turbo starts producing power right off idle and continues to climb strong up to almost the redline. All that plumbing and such looks almost silly to me; the simplicity and performance of a properly sized and properly powered single turbo on a straight six is hard to beat. Again, no offense but that twin turbo setup seems insane.

Actually, no problem with cooling; my rig normally never exceeds 90 celsius. There is a problem with cooling with the superchargers but not the turbos, however with that twin turbo setup there might be?

Originally Latin meaning "quod erat demonstrandum" or "which was to be shown or proven"

After proving something in mathematics, used to indicate that said proof is complete.
Prove that x+3=0 when x is -3...

x+3=0
x=0-3

Ahh, yes, I understand. I made the mistake of making circular arguments. Should have simply stated something about the single turbo providing plentiful performance without all the other obstacles of the twin turbo thing. Thanks for the latin refresher! :cheers:

I agree with that statements but personally when it comes to performance i choose the best overall.I will comes up with the specs and pricing, i know it seems lil over too much with TwinTurbo thing, but
lets find out detail oriented, specs how the Twins work shall we?

Absolutely, I would totally love to learn more about it. It is indeed the labor of someone's love and that someone has some really radical ability for sure, I'm sure. Dont get me wrong, I too love performance, power and speed (I crave it actually in all forms) and I'm not saying the twin turbo thing sucks or anything; it just boggles my brains that anyone would want anything more than 375 to 400 horse with just 6 to 8 psi of boost on an 80 series for regular street runs. As it is now I struggle to keep the thing to the ground; at times around corners especially with the full throttle, the thing wants to launch! Now I'd like to get the thing to launch on straights also but put it this way, if it could give me twice the power with half the reliability of the Safari, I would not take it. Even if it could give me say 100 more horses with the same reliability, I would not take it cause I can simply run 10psi with mine and get that too. s*** if i offered Shed some beers, a place to stay (since Junk makes him camp in the yard) and some humility on my part he can probably have me pumping 600 horses without much loss of reliability at all. Again dont get me wrong, something like the single turbo MAF is working on is wonderfully tempting but beyond the Safari or the MAF, the twin turbo would have to absolutely spank the single turbos in each and every category or I would never want it. Again, I think I was just disoriented while wandering my eye all over all those tubes, but I wished no offense on others and just sort of offered an opinion and you know what those are like, right? Anyway, yes please find out what the specs are, I would really love to know, not in a competitive way but in a curious way. Thanks. :cheers:

turbo,

You know the large key on your keyboard you stroke with your right pinky called "Enter" or "Return"?

You might want to become familiar with it. :flipoff2:
