In search of a functioning 1975-1976 USA Market Throttle Positioner/Choke Breaker Diaphragm.

Must be able to confirm it holds vacuum for 30 seconds-1min with a video.

Please look at the photos so you see exactly what is needed. There is a similar version for the pre-75 carburetors and is not what I am after. If you aren't sure, send a photo so I can verify.

Thanks!

Box o carb parts, what's different

The F variant diaphragm is offset to the right and the linkage doesn't line up correctly, plus it's going on a restoration so it needs to be original.

I test fit the early units and considered modifying but the need to stay original is higher priority.

Although the ~76-78 diaphragms can work as I have all the linkage needed to make that a drop-in swap worst case scenario.

Learn something new every day
I do have couple 76-78 version if need be

I got curious enough to pull down the big box where I keep most of the loose ones. Interestingly, there were only three of that vintage in the box. Two were/are dead, and the third slowly bleeds off.

So I learned something new.🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for checking @65swb45 seems to be the common consensus for this version….thankfully the 76-78 works just fine as a replacement.

I wanted to try the 3F variant since that is more ‘common’ but in essence of time - this was easier.
