Garett, When we spoke today I had forgotten that I had seen this post. Probably since I won't make it my brain is trying to forget :bang:

haha its all good man, there will be more. Was good talking to you, be sure and let me know when you order your sliders, maybe we could order them at the same time and save some on shipping.

These videos really make me anxious about this park. is that REALLY it? that's just dirt roads and stock 4x4's getting stuck in puddles.
If there was a club ride or a whole bunch of folks were going then I'd come for the enjoyment of camping and the like, but as it stands now, I'm out.

here is a link to the site Boggs and Boulders from what I have been told they have something for everyone, mud rocks, trails for stock rigs and so on. I hear the place is alot of fun

anyways its this coming weekend hope some of ya'll make it

I've seen the site and I've seen others pcitures on the park. I grew up literally 10 miles from that place and I see pictures of it on facebook from old friends going out there. I've yet to see anything but dirt road riding. When ya'll head out there and there's legitimate stuff please take pics and post them up.

you may be right, I have never been there. I will get pics of everything, I'm heading up there thursday so maybe I can find the good spots and post pics before sat.

I hope its not alot of little dirt roads I will be very upset if thats the case, but that will mean alot more time for drinking

We've discussed it at the WEC meatings and we concur... sittig around the camp fire with drinks and eats... that's over half the fun...
Even if it is dirt roads.. bring the expedition rigs and have fun...
Auburn's new park has zero trails and nothing but level 3 or better obstacles.

1st Picture. Well Justin thought it would be a good idea to go down this trail and it wouldn't be that hard. Sure enough once we got past the worst spot two (more worst :)) spots came up. This is the result (him stuck over a tree and me stuck trying to back up and get out of the trail. Thanks to Chris for his BADARSE truck to winch me out the hard way. Took us about an hour. NOTE: Purchase snatch block or two. That and 12K winch.

Chris going up one of the easier rock crawls

3rd a bull with some huge balls.

Garrett was out there all day and took a ton of pictures. It is always great to hear some of the conversations the Rednecks have while on their 4-wheelers (hundreds of them out there). "You can make it up that!..hell that land cruiser did it easy" Redneck #2 "That Jacked up one?" Redneck #1 No the onen lowest to the ground" RN#2 "NO WAY!".....so I did it again just to prove it to thme :D

I would have to say that Chris was the main show though. Everytime he attempted something they would all stop and watch. Good time and thank you Garrett and Arnold for the good eats and Chris for the many extractions. I'm looking forward to doing this again but am going to make sure the wife can come and we can make a good camping night out of it.

That truck got them red label boggers?

LMAO at the RN conversation!

Show us the good pics, show the ones that'll make us want to go out there!

Probably aren't many. Garrett might have a few but Justin was a Heeper (should have known that wasn't a good trail when he said he was used to being up to his seat in water) and Chris (Damn good guy) was a Chevy guy.

None the less it is at least worth one trip. They claim they have a hundred miles of trails but 90% of them are pretty lame. Their Limestone rocks and the 6 "rock-crawling" lanes they have set up are worth the trip though. I'll stand up for them though as they have only been open about 12 months and in that time they have come a long ways. I'm sure they focus a lot more on the 4-wheelers as that is what brings the money in. But they have a really nice restraunt/shade/meeting/viewing area in front of the main mud pit area and you can camp ANYWHERE on the entire property and it would make for a good time if the Alabami chapter wanted to put on a ride there. It is more of a relaxing and drinking place more than anything though. If you want to do the Expidition/hardcore wheeling where you go out a couple of days and then come back it would be better to head up north. None the less I had a great time and at 1.5 hours away you can bet I'm headed back.

I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everybody, I look forward to going back.
Yeah pretty much what Jason said, the rock lanes were fun and diverse where the trails didnt consist of anything special. I would honestly say that it is worth the trip, they have been opened only a year and continue to make new trails and climbs. I plan on going back this summer a few times.
Here are some pics I took, I have to post them in groups

sorry about that man, mines a d.d. also but I pulled all the carpet and everything ( I have had alot of water in my Jeep before), also I like trails that are like that.

Had alot of fun guys, 3 days up there was alot. Next time I go it would be for a day (maybe camp).

Does anyone know who owns that green LX450?? I got to say I think it would look really good with an ARB bumper, Slee sliders and Slee rear bumper. :grinpimp: I know where to find those items also.

maybe... but what would make it REALLY pop... would be a full sized Wilderness Roof Rack. I'll see if he's intersted in all of this... otherwise just send it to crusher for scrap.
