Hey Fellas,
We all spend a fair amount of time and moolah on our rides and most of us would like to know we're not gettin' took when we hire out the work and I'm certainly no expert in the field so please throw out your input.

I have a '73 FJ40 with rusted out rear sill and plenty of rust on the both rear quarter panels.
I also have replacements for the sill and panels (came with the deal) but my skills with a welder are complete s***.
Spoke with a local body guy today, his quote was $1250 to $1500.

It seems reasonable to me but you what do you guys think? Are we in the ballpark here?

If any of you guys have had the same work done please let us know what you were charged for reference sake.

To do it properly - cutting out the cancer, cleaning everything up, getting the new panels installed properly, and prepping for primer and paint - I'd say you're in the ballpark.

Thanks for the input.
