Wondering if I could get some input on the following. A week or two ago I noticed the truck was pulling to the right and figured it might need an alignment after some fairly light trials so I got that scheduled. I then noticed that the driver's side rear wheel was projecting out more than on the passenger side. I had the alignment done (took three tries) and the shop leveled up the torsion bars, so the front end is now equal and aligned. However, I still have the pull to the right. I decided to take some measurements and do so more investigation underneath. Here are some findings. Any advice on what the best course of action would be to get rid of the pull to the right and rear tires sitting equal to the body?
The truck is lifted and has the panhard relocation bracket and extended sway bar links. On flat ground, the panhard bar is not quite perfectly horizontal. See photo.
The rear driver-side tire projects 7/8" more from the body than the passenger side.
I measured the rear axle at either end on flat ground and it was equal, yet measurements to the rear bumper indicated the right side is lower on the driver's side by 9/16".
See the sketch below for some measurements.
Looking at the body stops above the axle the passenger side is maybe 1/8"- 3/16 less. See photo.
I also noticed that the right rear lower control arm bushing was shot and the others look cracked.
Any advice on what the best course of action would be to get rid of the pull to the right and rear tires sitting equal to the body would be appreciated.
