Blue Vapor Metallic - Wheel and Tire options LX470 2004

I'm looking for examples of Tires and Rims on a Blue Vapor Metallic LX470 (I own a 2004). I'm thinking of selling the LX 18" OEM wheels and switching to 17" Method 305 or 309 with 285/70/17 KO2's. I searched the forum and am at a loss when filtering the threads using "blue vapor" as the keyword.

I recently found a Vapor Blue Metallic (8P6) and am debating whether I want bronze, titanium or black aftermarket wheels. Anyone with photoshop skills to mock those up?

I went with 17" RW and the finish blended beautifully with the lower cladding on my BV '05...

The Falken Wildpeakes kick a$$ as well.

Well yes and no,

The thing with the SCS wheels is they weren't designed to run a center cap so they look clean and smooth, and they have a very well designed smooth transition across all their lines. Not really any sharp angles that I can see.

If they would ever do a silver run in 16x8 or 17x8 I would be very tempted to replace my factory wheels.

Ugh those look SO GOOD! Just trying to stick to the 17" to give myself more tire sidewall - but now I'll have to reconsider, haha. Are spacers needed on those to clear the caps up front?

Yes, I have 1.25" spacers because I am running 35" tires which were rubbing the frame on full lock.

Honestly these trucks don't do well with any sort of lift
