So I'm messing with the 80 oil changes, and doing a bit of yard work while they drain. Sprinkling, edging etc. Then I'm moving the 93 around to change the other truck and I hear a grinding sound. Park it and go take a look. Hmm, one wheel rotates, then a catch and grinding sound. Not good.
Takes me a bit to get things opened up and I cannot believe it. Chunks of gear lying around the bottom of the casing. Grease holding bits here and there against the sides and several missing teeth. This thing has given me such great service I almost can't believe it.
So, I headed down to the farm and feed store to pick up another one. Those Nelson self driven sprinkler tractors simply don't last like they used to.......heh.
