When I turn on the headlight on my 98 I blow the 15a fuse that's labeled as stop. Brake lights on their own are fine. Doesn't matter wether brake pedal is up or down. Recently inastalled arb front bumper just unpluged the lights from the old bumper. Never hooked up the orange marker light. I was trying to install arb compressor switch to ignition hot used a green wire on an unused harness connected to mirror adjustment harness. I undid the arb mount but am still blowing fuses. help Im electrical stupid.

First thing, totally disconnect all the wiring for your compressor and ARB bar, in other words get back to square one, and see if the problem still exists. If it doesn't, then you are doing something wrong hooking lights up, or grabbing wrong wires out of the harness.
If the problem is still there after you disconnect everything, think about what else you may have done recently as well, and disconnect that. If still there, you are going to need some electrical wiring diagrams for your vehicle to help you trace the fault.

Farnam - give me your e-mail and i'll send you a pdf of the stop circuit. Also make sure you didn't damage/smash the trailer wiring.

disconected everything

The arb compressor and switch are totally disconected. The "stop" fuse blows when I turn on the headlight. The brake lights work with or without the fuse? I checked the tail light fuse. It was blown. I continued to replace the stop fuse. I'll try replaceing the tail light fuse. Could the tail light fuse being blown cause the brake to go? I've got OME manual. Fuse is #13 on page BE-14. Could I have damaged the Headlight control relay? But the headlights still work. I recently replaced tail light and harness, So I reinstalled the old harness. Where is "tail light control relay"? could that be the problem? I'm bringing it to a local mechanic on thusrday am If I bring him the Volume 1 and 2 repair manuals does he have a chance of helping? Or should I bring it to Slee? Moab is only a couple weeks away. I bet their stacked.

Do you have an aftermarket wiring harness for a trailer? If so, then check for the “Uhaul” connectors. Or anywhere else you may have used these connectors. They are BUTTCO, and get rid of ‘em.
